Due to the property of increasing the length of spandex threads, the fabrics produced from this type of thread also have extraordinary elasticity and can have 3 to 4 times the initial length of elasticity; without damaging the fabric. Also, after every wash, even with warm water, the size and texture of the clothes have not changed and return to their original shape.
Lycra yarn
Lycra thread (Lycra) or spandex thread (Spandex) is produced by combining textured polyester thread (DTY) with a type of elastane thread that is based on polyurethane. Elastane yarn (elastic) added to polyester yarn is usually in 20, 30, 40 and 70 denier grades and the final yarn grade varies from 80 to 600 denier.
