FDY (or fully drawn) yarn

FDY or fully drawn yarn (Fully Drawn Yarn) refers to yarns that are produced during the process of melting semi-matte and glossy polyester chips along with the process of stretching on POY yarn and thermal stabilization for complete arrangement, which are produced in two single-step ways. or it is done in two stages and the raw material is used to produce spun yarn and it is directly used in weaving. The steps of making fully drawn yarn or FDY yarn are the same as making POY yarn, the only difference is that the yarn is completely arranged in the stretching and thermal treatment.

Controlled interweaving also helps the yarn to produce multi-ply yarn. FDY yarn is divided into plain and intermingled. Intermingle yarns suitable for direct spinning, spinning and weaving are used. This type of yarn is produced in Sirang company, both white and self-dyed (using colored masterbatch) in the range of 40 to 1200 denier, which is both the raw material for the production of spun yarns and is used directly in weaving. These yarns are produced at a speed of over 3,800 meters per minute, and during the polymerization and production process, all the main characteristics of the yarn such as strength, elongation, uniformity of tension and shrinkage in boiling water are precisely controlled.
